The legend of Medusa inspired Sikelia's fragrance of the same name, an unexpected, slowly manifesting and addictive fragrance.
Man has always been searching for the supernatural to justify his earthly existence.
From this concept starts the whole project of Sikelia Parfums, from myths and legends that hold symbolic meanings inspiring artistic and unique fragrances like Medusa.
"Sikelia Parfums is the product of a long work of research and study of the world of perfumes and in particular of Sicilian mythologies and legends.
Our production is done in limited quantities, which allows for scrupulous control over the quality of every single aspect," Sikelia explains.
“The elements that make up our creations are for the most part handmade: every single perfume stopper is handmade in ceramic by selected ceramists in Caltagirone (CT), the tassels, the case are the result of skilled craftsmanship that make each item unique.”
Medusa is an Eau de Parfum (100 ml, €135.00) built inspired by the legend of Medusa, the poison that pervaded her life, the snakes in her hair.
An intense perfume, an inner journey between our lights and shadows composed of: aldehydes, red fruit, rhubarb, in the top notes; amber, violet flowers, cashmere, in the heart; almond, heliotrope, white musk, apple, in the base notes.
A fragrance designed for those who are unpredictable, with a beautiful but damned spirit, for those who accept and recognize the monsters that inhabit them, and shed light on their innermost and darkest parts.
