triskelè

a symbol born from legend
three paths uniting in one island
Three rays of light. Three souls. One island. The Triskelè, an ancient and mysterious symbol, embodies the history and identity of Sicily. Three legs spinning around a central figure: the Gorgon, a mythical creature with a magnetic gaze, able to petrify with her eyes. This archaic image comes from Greek tradition but reaches even further back to Celtic culture, where the triskelè represented the three cosmic elements – water, earth, and air – and their cyclical, harmonious interaction.

sacred geometry of Sicily
the ancient power of the Triskelè
The three legs of the symbol are more than decoration: they represent Sicily’s three farthest capes – Capo Peloro, Capo Passero, and Capo Lilibeo – which make the island a sacred triangle suspended between myth and geography. The number three holds a deep esoteric meaning: it embodies the cycles of time, the stages of life, and the nature of being. An endless becoming with no beginning or end. From this alchemy of cultures and symbols comes TRISKELÈ, the fragrance celebrating the island’s primordial strength and its eternal spirit in motion.

nikos

a legend born from the sea
colapesce, the man who became the deep
Around 1230 in Messina, lived Cola, a gifted fisherman known for his strength and beauty. The sea was his true home — he spent his days diving into its depths, fascinated by its silence and freedom. He often returned his catch to the water, angering his mother, who in desperation cursed him: “May you become a fish!”.
And so he changed — his skin grew scales, and his limbs became fins. Underwater, Cola met nymphs and sirens who showed him coral gardens and shimmering palaces. He gave up love and a normal life, drawn forever to the sea.

Beneath the Waves
the silent guardian of Sicily
King Frederick II heard of Cola and put him to the test: he threw treasures into the sea, and Cola returned each one. Then Cola revealed a secret: “Three columns hold up Sicily. One, near Catania, is weak and burning.”.
The king dropped the princess's ring as a final test. Cola dove deep, reached the fragile column… and never resurfaced. Legend says he chose to stay, holding up the island from beneath the sea. When the earth shakes between Messina and Catania, it’s Cola shifting shoulders, still protecting Sicily in silence.

ATMA

meet the Titan
The giant beneath Etna
Atma, from Sanskrit meaning “Breath,” is inspired by the powerful legend of Enceladus, the giant linked to Mount Etna and Arab tradition. Enceladus was feared by all: half man, half beast, with hands as wide as squares, a wild beard, thick eyebrows, and a mouth like a blazing furnace. When angered, he spat sparks and flames that burned his hair, only to have it grow back even denser. During the Gigantomachy—the great battle against the gods—Enceladus led his brothers in a daring attempt to pile the world’s tallest mountains to reach the sky and dethrone Zeus.

The volcano's voice
The breath that ignites
But Zeus struck back, hurling flaming lightning bolts that buried the giants under massive mountain chains. Enceladus was trapped beneath Etna, alive but motionless, his body stretching across Sicily: a foot under Mount Erice, his head sealed beneath the volcano, breathing fire with every exhale. Etna’s smoke and lava are his furious breath, and each earthquake is his struggle to break free. We captured this story, his rage, and that searing breath in a unique fragrance.
